SEKIYA brewery was established in 1864 in a small town located in a mountain valley pass in the Japanese Alps in Aichi prefecture. For hundreds of years the small town Tochigi was a waypoint and resting place for travellers between the two main cities Nagoya and Nagano. The abundance of clean water from the mountains created ideal conditions to make Sake and cater for the thirsty travellers crossing the mountains. Today SEKIYA-shuzo is a state-of-the-art Sake brewery, producing premium Sake for the local market in Japan as well as ENTER.Sake Black, Silver and Gold.
ENTER.Sake was founded by music producer & DJ Richie Hawtin to bring Japanese premium Sake to a new generation of international costumers in restaurants, music clubs & festivals. The evolving collection of Sakes is hand made by five different breweries in Japan and exported to Europe & North America.
